The First And Only E-Stamp Collectors Club

The Significance of E-Stamps

Each e-stamp produced is carefully recorded on the FUN blockchain and assigned a unique identifier. This identifier conveys essential information, including the date of issuance, the country of origin, the design theme, its shape (whether square, round, rectangular, triangular, etc.), and whether it exists as an individual e-stamp or as part of a larger collection like a sheet, block, or strip. Additionally, it indicates if the e-stamp has been used on a First Day Cover.

The frequency and volume of new e-stamp releases can vary significantly from country to country; for example, New York generates a far greater quantity of e-stamps than a smaller island nation. It’s important to note that e-stamps designed for communication with non-CLUB members are rendered inactive, akin to their physical equivalents. In our blockchain ecosystem, the lifespan of e-stamps is limited to 12 months.

Nonetheless, the blockchain reliably tracks all transactions involving ownership changes, including exchanges between various e-stamps and those specifically engaged in these trades, even if multiple e-stamps are exchanged simultaneously. This robust system ensures a transparent and accurate record of the rightful owner of each e-stamp, effectively preventing theft.

The catalog is updated weekly, and included in your Club subscription.

Another important criterion is the feedback provided by the CLUB counselors’ board. This board consists of e-stamp specialists who evaluate the design quality of each e-stamp, emphasizing its educational value. They then assign a score from 1 to 10, with a 10 representing an especially compelling and informative e-stamp. An algorithm will be employed to determine the catalog value of a fresh mint e-stamp. For canceled e-stamps, a cancellation mark is crucial in assessing their value, often resulting in higher worth than mint e-stamps. The location of the cancellations is also significant: do they originate from a small village or a large city? Typically, the rarer the cancellations within a specific postal or zip code area—or in regions without postal codes—the more valuable these e-stamps may become. Every year, the value of an e-stamp increases by 5%. For example, if your current collection is appraised at $1,000, it will rise to $1,050 within a year.

The value of e-stamps is recalibrated daily, based on current market conditions, with final valuations being determined after a year once an e-stamp is no longer available. Moreover, there is an added advantage: owning a complete series of e-stamps greatly enhances their overall value compared to having only a few from that series. Additionally, intact sheets, blocks, and strips hold more value when they remain whole and undamaged. While it is uncommon for someone to attach an entire sheet to an email message, it is still possible.

One of the most beneficial aspects is that blockchain technology automatically manages your collection. Suppose you auction off an e-stamp, a collection, or even a box of duplicates. In that case, ownership is transferred seamlessly after a successful transaction—whether via auction, swap, or sale. For buyers, newly purchased e-stamps are easily integrated into their existing , virtual collection albums. If you don’t have a specific collection album for certain e-stamps, they will be added to the universal album you received upon joining the CLUB. Whenever you request a themed or country-specific album, your e-stamps will be effortlessly transferred to that new album.
